Initial guidance I put together, broken down by department, so that the overall look and feel was communicated clearly with details specific to each discipline. It was also important to establish some things early on, like a common dust albedo.

Art Direction - Cinematic R&D Project - Lunar Mining

Though I contributed to many aspects of art direction on this project I was not the official Art Director, and had no direct control over decisions made and actions taken. However, on this project I had several goals; To pre-plan and provide enough up-front information for our teams to move forward together in unison, and also to support with guidance on individual shot choices, compositions, lighting and other elements that contributed to the final shot look.
